To Whom It May Concern

By now, I'm sure everybody has seen the WCHA's most recent apology for an egregious video replay error after Friday's game between Denver and Wisconsin. Since I'm sure this won't be the last time that happens, I've taken the time to create a little form letter that the WCHA can hand out to teams after such events.

Dear (insert team name),

On the date of (insert date), referee Randy Schmidt decided to either allow or disallow a goal in your game against (insert opponent) after reviewing the video replay. It has come to our attention that Schmidt is the only human being on the planet to feel this way. Oops. Our bad. Video replay has never been his strong suit. He can't program his Tivo either.

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do at this time to correct said error. We can, however, offer you this coupon for 15% off all Red Baron Pizzas(offer void in North Dakota).

But really, you've been a member of this league for at least 8 years. You can't be that surprised by this. And it's not like it was that big of a deal anyway. If it had been something really important, like say, a baseball game with 10-year-olds, then sure, you could be mad. We find that your team, like every other league, is too focused on making this league the most competitive, highest quality non-professional hockey league in the world. Our official policy, however, is much more "A good time among friends, and then back in bed by a reasonable hour."

So again, sorry about the whole video replay snafu. It sucks, but it's not like we can will do anything about it. SUX2BU.

Sincerely,

The WCHA

You can insert Denver as the opponent because they must be paying him under the table.

i love the anti DU rhetoric being thrown around on these various college hockey blogs, it's truly comical. All of you turds who think Denver deserves blame for this crap need to get your heads out of your asses. Lemme guess...
a. your team sucks b. your team is behind DU in the standings
c. your team has been beaten down by DU over the years d. all of the above

grow up you losers

Funny, DU has had 3-4 good years in this decade(and hats off to DU), but beside that has been a very average to poor team in the last 20 years. Now WCHA teams are getting a beat down by them??? Come on, you're have a good year but DU has not been a powerhouse in the WCHA over and over and over. DU is like SCSU(not talking about tournment time either), in that you have 1-2 strong years and then are very average to below after that. Get off your high horse.

DU has been on the other side of both calls,

Both games DU has won by 1 goal, so DU quiting bitching it because that's 4 fours that you didn't earn. You can't sit them and not agree with it. You got 4 points out of the Schimdt being a dumbass.

Well written "letter"! Bravo!

Comparing Denver to SCSU is like comparing Jessica Simpson to some skank at Eastern Illinios University. Yeah they both slept with Tony Romo, but come on.

6:30....You must be dumber than a box of rocks. Last I checked Denver has 7 NCAA titles, 2nd most all time, including 2 in the last 5years. I'll match that up against anyone historically. Who do you root for???

Regardless, you missed the whole point of the earlier posting.....those idiots out there who blame DU for the official's shortcomings over the weekend are completely misinformed or just trying to stir the pot.

6:34....Did you make it out of the 3rd grade?? My 6 year old nephew is better with the written word........

I hear plenty of rhetoric coming from Gwoz before the WCHA admitted their error. However, he has been pretty silent since. No class Gwoz, no class.

I enjoyed this. :)

"Last I checked Denver has 7 NCAA titles"

Yeah didn't they win 5 of those when there was like 10 teams in the NCAA and the automobile was just being invented.

Mich Tech won 5 titles. I guess they're a power house too. DU sucks and plays 2nd fiddle to CC

Michigan Tech has won 3 National Championships but who's counting. :-)

5:56...Were you born with manure for brains or did things just evolve that way for you?

One of the best ways to measure the success of a team/franchise is longevity--- wins-losses and championships over time. Hockey has been played for a long time in North America. Thus....actually never mind, you wouldn't understand anyway, slapdick. Go back to your coloring books and GI Joe, and have fun at recess tomorrow.

6:36...Good stuff. Did you write that entry yourself, or did the dipsh** from 5:56 help out?

Oops sorry you had 13 teams to compete with and Hitler was a teenager.
