Brad Schlossman of the Grand Forks Herald is reporting that Brad Malone has chosen to attend North Dakota over Wisconsin.
North Dakota's 2007 recruiting class was a little behind the other top teams in the WCHA in terms of numbers and quality, but landing one of the top remaining forward recruits is a huge boost.

If already having Trupp and Lapointe inbound is behind we would all like to know what is needed to be ahead.
are u drunk?
what gives with that? I guess Trupp must be a hack.
Trupp is good, but the jury is still out on Lapoint. He could be a big hit or a big bust. We'll see.
i have to disagree with the original post...i think that und has had some very quality recruits...trupp and lapoint?? and marto and hamilton will be solid players as well
I really do not know how you can disagree with that comment. I am pretty sure top teams in thw wcha doesnt as much refer to CC and DU as rivals Minnie and Wisconsin. Minnesota has a first rounder in Hoeffel, the top Dman on the US NTDP team, while the Badgers have two potential first rounders in Turris and Smith, with two other 2-4 rounders in Goloubef and McDonaugh. And they probably have the top two goalies in the class. Trupp and Lapoint are nice, but Fairchild and Hoeffel or Turris and Smith would put them alittle behind.
