Congrats to a great young man from Wisconsin! It's the Badgers loss.
Of Course it's a Badger loss. Who in the hell in their right mind would want to play for Eaves?? How he got Turris to play that boring and bland trap style hockey is beyond me???
anony 8:47...do you watch hockey or just spew nonsense? You do realize the Badgers are averaging over 3 goals a game this year having played 3 out of 4 series on the road and 3 of the top 4 teams in the country with North Dakota on the road thrown in for giggles? You really should attend the next Badger Haters annonymous meeting to figure out that the official tag line has been "over recruiting" for the past year and that "boring trap style" is out of vogue.
"Boring and bland trap style of hockey" that has the Badgers scoring 3.4 per game and 3.62 per game in the WCHA (having played @ UD, @ North Dakota, Minnesota, and Mich Tech). The second highest scoring team in WCHA league play. Good luck selling that BS to recruits as UW shows stats and highlight packages of Pavelski, Turris, Reinsprecht, and Heatley scoring goals in the NHL.
think they will show the films of Ford at UW then in the pros scoring every game and now in the AHL. Turris didn't score that much at UW so his one year of high lights is limited. Eaves didn't coach the other two so show them the difference to contrast styles.
Former Sioux Zach Parise and current New Jersey Devil is on fire scoring 13 points in 10 games. Zach Parise is also tied for second over all in the NHL with Alexander Semin for goals scored. Former Gopher Thomas Vanek is number one.
You mean the same Zach Parise who was quoted as saying if coach Eaves had been at UW already when he was deciding on a school, he would have went there (and this while he was still playing for the Sue nonetheless)? The same Zach Parise that coach Eaves helped lead to the WJC gold (only college coach that can say that) and develop as a player at the USDT program? That WJC team sure played a boring trapping style lol. You haters look like such riddiculous tools when you step in it by mentioning someone like Parise. Why don't you mention Carle next...you know the kid that thanked Eaves second (after his mom) at the Hobey Baker cerimony with his own coach Gwoz sitting right next to him and Eaves.
