Just in case there was any doubt about this year's top NHL draft pick...

Start the flames, but big whoop.

Yes, Stamkos is a big time player. He'll undoubtedly go in the top 3. I'm pretty certain, though, that many DI and even mediocre MJ forwards could do the shot he highlights in his ego-hyped website. Hell, Eric Ehn's shot was better than Stamkos' and I doubt Ehn will see much if any NHL time.

Point is: Highlight your skills during GAME highlights, not shootout crap. Any half-way talented forward can put on that kind of display when there's only them and a goaltender on the ice.

Oh, and one more thing: Just because you managed to get a few quotes and your own website with a bunch of smoke on it, doesn't make it true. Hell, I can make a website with a bunch of quotes to pump up Pavol Brendl, Jason Bonsignore, Ryan Sittler, Daniel Dore, Daniel Tkaczuk, Alexandre Volchkov, and the list goes on and on and it wouldn't make it true.

blah blah blah, the site was registered by the Tampa Bay Lightning. They're basically admitting that they'll be using the first pick on Stamkos. I think that's what Chris meant by "spoiler".

Well EVERYBODY knows TJ Oshie is better than that guy.

some serious "playa haten" going on here. TSN asked Stammer to do the promo for the NHL skills competition. This kid has mad hockey skills and is anything but arrogant or self promoting.

he is arrogant and self-promorting, two things that help NHL careers

Steve Stamkos is the most grounded young man you could know. He has done more then needed to show his level of skill in game situations.

Some of you people are real clowns.
