Miami junior defenseman Alec Martinez has joined teammate Jeff Zatkoff in signing with the Los Angeles Kings.
Martinez was one of the best defenseman in the CCHA this season, scoring 9 goals and 23 assists in 42 games.

Is Miami going to be bad next year, or do they have anyone left to pick up the slack?
I think their biggest question mark will be goaltending since they'll need to go with two freshman. Offense shouldn't be a problem as the underclassmen are very good
Mercier may also sign; if that happens, that's a lot of offense to replace.
