Linkorama

Kevin Allenspach has a good story on the busy life of Marty Mjelleli.

A long article on Notre Dame's Mark Van Guilder. He's played in every game so far in his Notre Dame career.

The middle of the CCHA is suddenly surging.

Brandon Vossberg talked about his fight with Kyle Radke.

Dave Hakstol said everyone is healthy for North Dakota, which frankly, is amazing. I would have thought that with 20 evil Denver players gang-beating three defenseless North Dakota players, they would have incurred some sort of bump or scratch.

It's a big hockey day in Duluth on Saturday with the Section 7AA semifinals in the morning, and UMD taking on CC in the evening.

Shane Frederick made a trip out to Mankato's rink of dreams.

A little motivation for Michigan Tech.

The trial of Marc-Andre Fleury vs. Ty Conklin.

i think you can quit the nodak bashing. its getting old.

If you're going to be goons, maybe you Susies could whine less.

I disagree with anon 3:27. I find it quite amusing. NoDak fans call every other teams' player "hacks", while their team of goons are simply "hard-nosed" players. They obviously don't see the irony involved. If you call them out on it, you are now "NoDak bashing", your team's a bunch of pansies (except for the players who are hacks, of course), and you should watch basketball or figure skating instead. Gimme a break.

Great job on the blog, Chris. Even when you're "bashing" my favorite team (The Gophers), I find your quips entertaining, and generally dead-on. Keep up the good work!

Stick to starting fires in your fireplace Chris.

Max Gardiner commits to UW. Max is the younger brother of Jake from Minnetonka. Gophers were not interested.

Sussies sure like to talk crap about knocking people out, funny they never mention Boston College...

Boston College! There you go, it has been said. BC was the better team the last couple of years, so be it. We don't complain, we applaud good play and will try to get them next time. Even this year, the Sioux realize they are average to above average team, and will need to grit/grind their way to victories. Hopefully, it works out and we can make Denver our town. Go Sioux -#8!!

I just had to laugh at anon @ 4:03. I expect no less from a complaining Gopher fan who cries wolf whenever an opponent inflicts a scratch on your prima-donna team who are forced to hold hockey sticks. Sorry that we traumatized your team!

And anon @ 7:44. How irrelevant can you be? What the hell does knocking people out relate to Boston College? Was that your attempt of trying to poke fun that the Sioux have lost twice to Boston College in the last 2 post-seasons? Good job at failing hardcore!

I respect Boston College and always enjoy when the Sioux get to play them because it's become a rivalry.

And Chris I just enjoy your quips about the Sioux. It's showing us that you care yet have somewhat of an obsession which is scary and alarming.

Chris, you're an idiot. Plain and simple.

You forgot to add is this the weekend that Jeff Lerg gets exposed for the big sieve that he really is.

Hey anon 9:19, your fans can bash michigan fans all day for your sending them packing in the NCAA tourney, but when someone brings up the team that bounced you from the tourney the last two years, you get all defensive? Seems the normal response from the "we never do anything wrong" sussie fans.

Anon @ 9:36 AM How is it that I got all defensive? I was pointing out how irrelevant the post was. I could care less if any mentions Boston College beating the Sioux the past 2 post-seasons but the person inclusion of BC was just irrelevant and stupid.

I guess you skipped the part where I said I respect BC and enjoy watching when we play them even if we lost to them twice in the past 2 years. That's not getting defensive that's being humbled.
