Nunn Signs with WHL

Minnesota State recruit Garry Nunn has joined the Vancouver Giants of the WHL, and thus will not be playing NCAA hockey. Nunn is expected to suit up for the Giants on Saturday night against Everett.

Nunn was set to join the Mavericks next season, though he would have had to sit out a year before he was actually able to play. Best of luck to Nunn with the Giants.

Another loss for the NCAA....

As long as Bob T and the USHL gang are "recruiting" for the NCAA, this will keep happening. He is so, so negative it is funny.

Thanks again!

I'm sure the fact that Bob Turow is trying to recruit kids out of Ontario played a huge factor in the decision made by a kid in British Columbia.

Thank you Chris. Thank you.

It is amazing how many comments I see about Bob Turow from supporters of the CHL. I guess they must really be threatened by him to always bash him.

My dealings with Bob have been top notch. Granted, I am in Michigan and the USHL and NCAA options are my son's first choice. But, he has treated my son first class all the way, as have the USHL and NCAA teams that have been in contact with us.

For every "loss" to the CHL, there will be many "gains" by the NCAA. I'd rather have my kid educated while playing, thank you very much. To each his own, I guess.

He is supposed to be recruiting ANY player for the USHL and the NCAA. It is just funny that the USHL has a guy from Ontario head up thier Central Scouting. What does that say about Americans? CHL'ers are threatened by Bob, it is just that he attacks them at every turn, spins anything, and lies, and they are getting tired of it. BTW, what is a NCAA gain?
