Mike Chambers, who covers the University of Denver for the Denver Post, is the latest newspaper writer to succumb to the blogosphere. It looks like his blog will mostly cover Denver, with a sprinkling of Colorado College and Air Force news mixed in.
Among his first couple of posts are a report from captain's practice and a little more on new goalie recruit Adam Murray. He mentions that junior defenseman Chris Butler is out for a week or two with a cooking injury and that senior defenseman Zach Blom is suspended until sometime in October for breaking a team rule. Blom hasn't been a big contributor in his first three years at Denver, but the Pioneers were already short on experience on the blueline, and they could miss Blom when they open up the season with two huge series against Maine and at Notre Dame.
