A couple guys are no longer college hockey players.
Cory Schneider finally signed with the Canucks.
Alex Goligoski signed with Pittsburgh.
North Dakota's Brian Lee and Michigan State's Jim McKenzie both signed with Ottawa. The Spartans will be without a Minnesotan on their roster next season.
Pat Maroon is going to London. That's a tough loss for Ferris State. I'll refrain from editorializing and just wish him good luck.
Michigan's Kevin Porter isn't leaving this summer.
2009 recruit Mitch Lebar signed with the OHL. He had visited a few CCHA schools, but didn't seem that impressed with the college route.

Chris,
You have to love the article you linked to from Canadian hockey announcing the decision of Mitch Lebar to choose the OHL over NCAA as the best place for development. The headline "Two more playes say no to NCAA and yes to OHL!" I guess the OHL's fast-track to the NHL for its "playes" is a far superior route than a college education. If hockey doesn't work out, they could always get a job editing Canadian hockey blogs!
Why is that the only retort anyone has? CHL players do go to school, many go on to the CIS, over 500 ex-CHL players were in University this season, paid for by thier Education Packages..While almost 50% of the NHL Draft came from the CHL??
Maybe the title is framed that way because of this supposed war, and to refute some of the garbage spewed by NCCA Coaches and Supporters... but they are right, all Major Junior players end up with a McJob..
Obviously you missed the point of the post; it was pointing out the irony of the typo present in the title of an article promoting Canadian players to eschew college. No need to drag up the age-old debate.
