Chris Heisenberg lists Tri-City Storm forward Jordan VanGilder as committing to Alaska for 2008.
VanGilder is a graduate of Centennial HS in Minnesota, and he played with Tri-City last year after graduating. He played well at Tri-City's tryout camp and should be one of the Storm's top players.
VanGilder is new head coach Doc DelCastillo's first recruit to Fairbanks.

Chris. The Van Guilder at Notre Dame and Jordan are not related. Jordan only has a sister, no brothers.
