NTDP Update

The NTDP Tryout Camp is over, and some of the names that will be on the U17 team next season are starting to leak out.

Detroit Honeybaked has said that Forwards Kenny Ryan, David Valek, and Chris Brown and defenseman Cam Fowler will all be on the team next year. Those invites have been known for a while now. Fowler and Ryan could be two of the stars on the team.

New Jersey forward Kyle Palmieri will be joining the team. Palmieri, is a very skilled playmaker that should be fun to watch.

Chaska HS defenseman Nick Mattson was offered a spot on the team, and has accepted it.

Edina HS forward Zach Budish will return to Edina, where he is a standout football and hockey player regardless of whether or not he receives an offer.

Roseau forward Nick Oliver attended the tryout camp, but will be returning to Roseau regardless of what USA Hockey decides. Oliver's father, Scott, is the head coach for the Rams.

Texas Attack defenseman Tyler Amburgey and LA Selects defenseman William Wrenn have also reportedly accepted spots on the team.

Oops, I was wrong about Budish ALREADY receiving an offer. Though he'll likely get one, the point is still moot, as he won't accept anyway.

What are you doing? Just pulling rumors off of the USHSO site?

Actually, I put the rumor on there! My source was quite reliable, but it's my fault for not hearing him correctly. The same source corrected my error.

Keep us updated on the new additions!

wow, the list was announced today...I'm surprised at how few names you & CH predicted correctly (unless I'm reading the wrong lists)...
