North Dakota Outscores Michigan

Michigan got off to a fast start against North Dakota, but after that, it looked like typical Sioux hockey, as North Dakota won 8-5. They had an effective powerplay, lots of obstruction in the offensive zone, and below-average goaltending that came up big when it counted.

North Dakota looked good, but not the unbeatable juggernaut that people made them out to be. They let a lot of Michigan forwards get behind their defense. I'm guessing they won't get as many powerplays in today's game, so they'll probably have to tighten up defensively because I don't see them getting as many opportunities to catch back up.
