Minnesota picked up another great commitment this week from Roseau HS defenseman Aaron Ness. The Gopher Puck Blog has a little more information.
Ness is definitely among the top of the 2009 class. When all is said and done, he may even be the top college defenseman in the class just because his lack of size may keep him in college a little longer than some of the other top prospects. He will certainly be a fun player to watch for Minnesota.

I watched him at the high school hockey tourney. He is a good one. A little small and does not a great shot yet. But really controls the ice. The Gophers are so lucky!
