Dusty Jackson Commits to Denver

Eric Stromgren of the Owatonna People's Press is reporting that Southern Minnesota Express forward Dusty Jackson has committed to Denver for next season.

Jackson originally comes from Omaha, Nebraska, but played at Shattuck-St. Mary's in high school. After that, he joined Billings in the NAHL, before that team folded, and he returned to southern Minnesota. He's been the leading scorer for the Express this season.

He's a big forward at 6-3 200 lbs., and his coach noted that he is a hard worker. He probably won't be a star for Denver, but should be a solid player on one of the lower lines.

Chris-

With Gregoire and Jackson and I think one other recent committment does this mean Riley Nash probably will either go to Cornell (most likely) or UND over DU?

Jackson would seem like a walk on or very low scholarship player so I doubt this means anything in regard to Nash.
