Outrage

By now, I'm sure most of you have seen the story about the USC goalie. Why does it seem like this time of year, every year, some jackass from a club team out west does something stupid like this? I forget the exact incident last year, but I think UCLA was involved. Anyway, I'm just waiting for the inevitable article blasting the entire game of hockey from some low-level newspaper writer that always comes with an incident like this.

It makes me glad to work in college hockey, where all the writers I've had the honor of meeting have been really nice guys. Apparently the line of self-righteousness is between page 3 and 4 of the Sports section.
