New Recruits

Denver got a commitment from Des Moines(USHL) forward Nate Dewhurst. Dewhurst is an Iowa native that played at Culver Academy last season. He had an excellent Select 16 Festival this summer, and earned a spot on his hometown USHL team, making him one of two local Iowa players to play for the Bucs. His stats this year haven't been that great, but keep in mind that he is a '90 birthdate playing in the top junior league in the US. The fact that he even made a team is pretty impressive. Dewhurst had also visited Colorado College recently.

Ohio State got a commitment from Erick Belanger, an '86-born defenseman who is playing for Nanaimo in the BCHL. The Clippers are in first place in their division in the BCHL, and Belanger is the second is one of the top playmakers on the team from the blueline.
