Dorr Commits to Minnesota

Gopher Puck Blog is reporting that Roseville HS forward Mike Dorr committed to Minnesota for the 2008 season. He'll play in the USHL next season.

Dorr was the center of some controversy when he verbally committed to Minnesota-Duluth last year, but decided to keep looking at other schools. Minnesota always seemed to be his school of his choice, so I can't find too much fault in a kid choosing to play for the college that he always wanted.

UMD Fans - Sucks to be you..... Look at it this way, now you can boo Dorr and Fairchild when the Gophs come to town.

Wait a minute: Since Chris is such an Anti-Gopher troll, isn't he supposed to ream Dorr for choosing the Gophers and not resigning with the Bulldogs?

And it's also nice to see that Gopher fans are taking this announcement with the grace and classiness a program like Minnesota usually exudes.

Yeah because Chris reported one item about Minnesota like a reporter instead of a partisan means he's not a troll and one Gopher fans arrogant chest-thumping means all Gopher fans are graceless. Nice double standard there guy. Keep up the good work and Chris might offer you a job.

Gee, here we go again. Why don't we just cut and paste the comments from earlier Gopher bashings and save a lot of time and energy.

All I have to say is, I hope Dorr gets what is coming to him.

I'd rather have Connolly any day.

I'm glad Dorr is getting to play for the program he obviously wanted to play for.

If you really prefer Connolly why the sour grapes?
