The situation in the NAHL got a little uglier this morning during the league's conference call, when NAHL commissioner, Eric Krupka, was replaced by Mark Frankenfeld, who will act as interim commissioner for the league. Krupka began his tenure at the beginning of the season, but fell out of favor with the league owners.
Blame can probably be assessed to both sides, and I don't know all the facts, so I won't comment. But what I do know is that this looks like another public relations fiasco for the NAHL. The NAHL looks to have some serious problems that need to be corrected. I doubt the league can continue to operate in the manor that has been.
