Cedar Rapids Roughrider forward Rob Bordson took a very nice visit to Colorado College earlier this month, and was given a very nice scholarship offer, but ultimately, the Duluth native wanted to stay close to home, and now he will be able to do that.
Bordson accepted a scholarship to Minnesota-Duluth for the 2008 season. He has played well for Cedar Rapids this season, but missed some time due to mono. He's back skating with the team though. Not only is it a nice pick-up for the Bulldogs, it's an addition of a local player, which the Bulldogs have struggled to get recently.
