Minnesota Mr. Hockey Finalist and St. Louis Park forward Andy Sackrison committed to Minnesota State Mankato. Is it too late for me to change my metaphorical vote for Mr. Hockey?
Ohio State picked up a commitment from Des Moines(USHL) defenseman Shane Sims. Sims is originally from the Buffalo area and played in the OPJHL last season where he was named the league's top defenseman. Sims will join the Buckeyes in 2007.
Colorado College got their first forward commitment for 2007 when they picked up Cloquet/Esko/Carleton High School forward Tyler Johnson. Johnson is a junior and at 5'8 160 lbs., is a very small forward.
