Poll Comments:

It was a difficult week to make sense of the poll, since the second, third, fourth, and sixth place team all got swept. It was difficult to tell how much each team should be punished for losing a pair of tough games. As I like to do, I took some advice from the loyal readers of this site. Since I've been told by readers that Wisconsin is terribly overrated, and that the Gophers were expected to win a game last weekend, they were the most harshly punished for their losses.

The big winners in this week's poll was Lake State. With an impressive sweep over Alaska-Fairbanks, new coach Jim Roque has the Lakers in position to have one of their best seasons in a long time.

This is what hockey is all about. parity is everywhere, and i love it when mike Eaves coaches a team to shut down all the minnie talent, especially Mr. kessel.
We can only hope that the CCha is well represented in the end.
