Let's Play Hockey

Games to Watch:

#10 Northern Michigan at # 2Michigan State
MSU is off to a great start, but Coach Rick Comley has struggled against his former team. Northern goalie Bill Zaniboni has picked up where Tuomas Tarkki left off, and Michigan State's penalty killing has been atrocious this year. I think Northern will win at least one game on the road.

#9 Ohio State at Miami
Ohio State will try to bounce back from a rough weekend against a good Miami team. Miami's only loss so far this season came against a top notch goalie in Jordan Parise. I think goalie Dave Caruso will be able to shut down the potent RedHawk offense.

Nebraska-Omaha at Bowling Green
If only for this.

#6 Wisconsin at #8 North Dakota
I'll admit, after a slow start, I had a little crisis of faith with Wisconsin, but it looks like they've pulled things together nicely. North Dakota has tried to rotate goalies, but both losses have come with Phillippe Lamoreux in net.

Players to Watch:
Dave Caruso, Ohio State
After a shaky performance last Friday, and not starting on Saturday, Caruso will need to rebound and play great this weekend for the Buckeyes to steal points on the road from Miami.

Chad Kolarik, Michigan
Kolarik was expected to fill in for Jeff Tambellini for Michigan this season, but so far has struggled on the wing. He's moving back to center this weekend, which will hopefully jumpstart him offensively.

Bobby Goepfert, St. Cloud State
The Huskies travel to Colorado Springs this weekend, which has traditionally resulted in disaster for St. Cloud. Goepfert's performance so far has given Husky fans hope though. Goepfert will need a superhuman performance to steal points for the Huskies.
