That Didn't Take Long

Green Bay Gamblers forward Sean Little committed to, yeah, you guessed it.

Also, per Chris Heisenberg...

Roseau's Tyler Landman is going to Providence. The Friars have hit Minnesota hard lately, taking Matt Bergland, David Brown, and Rob Maloney straight out of high school.(Incidentally, Bergland is off to a fantastic start with 11 points in his first ten games). Landman is a very hard-working player, and it's great to see that rewarded.

Also, Anchorage picked up a commitment from Sam Mellor, a late '92 birthdate, that plays in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League for the Kimberley Dynamiters(No, I didn't make up that name). He's got 4 goals and 8 assists in 18 games against mostly older competition.

Sean Little's numbers at GB

Glad they grabbed him up quick, who will he be replacing Bardis?

Except Michigan State, Denver and Boston U were interested as well, so I guess he must suck based solely on stats in a young season.

He's a 17 year old playing in the USHL, he'll be fine by 2010.

if Ford, Goro, bears, couldn't play for UW with their numbers(and bears was 16 his first year) this is laughable. got a sibling way to WISCO.

another commit to Wisconsin, not surprised but if he isn't healthy, isnt' putting up numbers, and has another year for sure in USHL why commit now? wow.

The Friars figured out if you don't have Minnesotans on your roster you don't win National Championships.

lol, kids verbally commit to Wisco, because they are told full-ride scholars, and the most playing time they want to develop. But when it comes to the year of them signing everything changes, and they then follow suit of not signing... Weird...

Can the Little boys live up to other combinations?
Gophers:Brotens,Poltunys,Pohls,Hankinsons
ND: Toews,Parises,Zajacs
BU: Bavis', Saponari'
BC: Eaves'

Interesting sibling commit for UW.Hardly the sure fire siblings of other teams.

Eaves has compassion for the injured. Patrick's pro-career has been injury filled.
Missed the last game with an upper-body injury
* Returned to action vs. TB (11/16) after missing three games due to injury
* Had 15 points (5g, 10a) in 37 games last season with Ottawa and Carolina, missing more than half of the season with a shoulder injury
Ben has been injured every year following college.

Benilde has pumped out several quality players in recent years. In fact last week's Providence - Dartmouth game featured a pair of BSM grads -- freshman Bergland (PC's leading scorer -- 11 pts) and Sophomore Estoclet (Dartmouth's leading scorer - 14 pts). Congrats to Landman - great to see another high quality MN product coming to play in Hockey East.

Go Friars!

Go Red Knights!
