Michigan Tech's Malcolm Gwilliam is out of the hospital and heading back to Michigan, according to Michigan Tech head coach Jamie Russell.
Russell said that Gwilliam will make a full recovery and could play hockey again in the future, but not this season. He also mentioned the possibility of appealing to the NCAA for a sixth year of NCAA eligibility due to medical hardship.
