The Upper Midwest Elite League will be hosting their National Invitational Tournament this weekend in New Hope, Minnesota. The tournament will bring together a number of top prospects. Here are the rosters for the event.
Team Minnesota White
Team Minnesota Red
Shattuck-St. Mary's
Los Angeles Selects
Team Wisconsin
San Jose Jr. Sharks
Malmo Redhawks
Michigan Stars
Minnesota White looks to basically be a Twin Cities team. Minnesota Red looks to incorporate more of outstate Minnesota, along with some Twin Cities players. The Michigan Stars are an all-star team made up of players from the Michigan Developmental Hockey League, a league designed after the Minnesota Elite League to give players that choose high school hockey more options. The Malmo Redhawks played in the MDHL's league tournament last weekend.

The Michigan Stars are now called the MDHL (Michigan Developmental Hockey League) Major team. The league is run by a Mr. Bill Burns and promotes "Michigan High School Hockey" before the official HS league starts.
