The University of New Hampshire held a contest where people voted for the name of their new mascot--because one mascot wasn't enough, I guess--and the winner, with 28.85% of the vote is Gnarlz. Because there's nothing as timeless as ripping off the name of a one-hit wonder whose one hit came like two years ago. Why not name just name your giant cat Jessie's Girl?
Of course, these are the same people who also gave us WiffleBong and The Sodomizer(pertinent stuff starts around 2:20 into the video).

wow, with NHL training camps starting, junior showcases happening and midget teams playing all you can come up with is a story about NH's mascot?
