Kennedy Signs

Two weeks ago, I said it looked like it was a matter of time before Michigan State forward Tim Kennedy signed with the Buffalo Sabres, and now, Kennedy has made it official that he will be leaving Michigan State.

Sparty has taken some huge hits this offseason, losing Abdelkader, Ratchuck, and now Kennedy early on top of losing big(ger) Lerg, Vukovic and Mueller to graduation. Combine that with Miami losing almost every single elite player on their team other than Camper, and the CCHA seems to have taken a pretty big step back this offseason. The gap between the top 2 (Michigan and Notre Dame) and the rest seems to be pretty significant.
