North Dakota defenseman Taylor Chorney has agreed in principle to a contract with the Edmonton Oilers.
Similar to teammate T.J. Oshie, Chorney returned to college for one final season last year with big expectations, and while he had a very good year, it probably fell a little short of those expectations. He'll likely have a long and successful pro career ahead of him though.

Chorney had a nice college career. He'll be missed. I hope Finley leaves too. He's a guy that won't be missed.
What's up with the Finley bashing? He had a good year. True, his performance in the playoffs wasn't great but give the guy a break. Didn't he lead the team in +/- ?
