Now that just defines class.........

Its a good thing there is such thing as the internet so you can feel important!!!

Well, I can now remove this blog off of my favorites.....What used to be a true hockey blog has now turned into an obsession with going against another team. Seriously, how old are you? I hope you don't have kids because as a teacher, a parent like you is the source of my problem every day.

hahahahaha i love it

Now all you Sioux fans know what it's like. As a Gopher fan, this softy hides behinds his computer week after week and dishes out his jabs at us...at least he's spreading it around.....

Anonymous said...

I love it too. Come on Sue fans, it is an ass whooping.

Come on Sioux fans your time has come. You should have lost to Princeton if they had a goalie, should have got your ass kicked by Wisconsin if they could finish, now BC can finish and have a decent goalie, so UND gets routed.

I love how the Soo babies dish it out but can't take it. Bye Soo. You got beat by a better team, again!

7:38, 7:42, and 8:40...who are your favorite teams?

Anonymous said...

Yes. Fair enough, the BC Eagles dominated the game, no question there. I'm still a Sioux fan and always will be regardless of wins and losses. I can even chuckle at how personal people get on these posts...I don't care what people say. Go Sioux!

As a Sioux fan, I wished we could have won it. However, we played a BC team that was quicker, faster, stronger, and better than we were. It's gonna suck not being able to watch Oshie every weekend, but more players will come along and have an impact just as they did. While Oshie, Finley, Chorney, and Duncan didn't accomplish their goal like they came back to do, I commend them for their commitment to our program. Hopefully, Chorney did not sustain a serious injury, and other college hockey players follow the lead of these guys and remain true their school instead of the dollar.

Hah! Hah!

Lame-o-roo and the Soo, really blew.

It's so nice to see Karma in action.

Go Irish!

I am not quite sure why I keep checking this blog? entertainment I guess. As a pure hockey fan, I will admit that my team was defeated fair and square.

I wont whine about lack of sportsmanship or poor officiating.

However, the gopher fans should show more respect for a team that actualy made it to the frozen four this year and the last three years. (I think we beat you once or twice too)

Minnesotans obviously can't handle the cold hard fact that North Dakota's ONLY college hockey club is better than all of thiers combined...COMBINED. Not to mention North Dakota won 2 National Titles 15 years before MN had it's first.

But I will thank you for borrowing us your best players and keeping the garbage for youself.

Yep it all caught up to the Sioux. The Princeton score really didn't indicate the game and the BADgers vastly outplayed the Sioux and still eked out a victory. And today they get vastly outplayed yet again.

The criticisms of this blog are warranted since the writer rarely seems to shine a similarly critical light on the two teams he seems most interested in when they falter.

But North Dakota did get killed tonight and it is interesting watching how their fans react to the receiving end of critical comments. They certainly like to dish it out but don't seem to very adept at taking it in return. I guess maybe the lesson they should learn is not to have a big mouth if you can't handle getting getting it returned.

I can take it. This actually made me laugh for the first time tonight. I am a Sioux fan all the way. We got whooped, but I love this team to death. We will re-lace them next year and try this again.

If you like goons, like we like goons. You'd have gotten beaten by BC four times at the Frozen Four, too.

Let wailing and gnashing of teeth commence. Along with the blaming of the refs.

While your at it, Pass the halos!

That was the best highlight reel I've seen in a long time. Very accurate. Why do Sioux fans think only Gopher fans don't like them? Nobody likes NoDak! Don't confuse me with being a Gopher fan just because you guys have your inferiority complex against Minny. CC/Air Force fan here, happy as a clam BC humiliated you guys. See ya next year!

Very disappointing year for the Sioux. They only lose one underclassman while everyone else is losing more and considered to be the pre-season favorite to win it all yet they come home to 0 hardware. No national title, no WCHA title, and not even a Final Five title.

Hakstol should've pulled Lamoureux with his middle finger in the 2nd.

Anyone that considers the McNaughton or Broadmoor as a true prize needs to understand the grand scheme of things.

Soo fans get over yourself . . . it was a joke and a pretty funny one. This is a great site and will continue to be one.

Anonymous said...

I am as hardcore a Sioux fan as you will find and I laughed.

It helped relieve the sick to my stomach feeling that i've had since since the end of the first period.

People really need to get over calling other fanbases names EVERY SINGLE fanbase has some belligerant morons and some whiny douches.

The teams with the largest fanbases just tend to have more of them due to pure numbers.

Eric J. Burton said...

I think it is funny that all of these fans bad mouth the Sioux and take great pride in loss but the Sioux had a decent season and had a lot better year than Minnesota, MSU-M, UAA, MTU, Wisconsin, yeah how is that working for you?

Kris said...

So that guy that got his head smashed in; was that Lamoreux?

Anonymous said...

Nice comeback Goon-(me rolling my eyes.) You guys were expected to win it all this year, yet you want to take pride in having better seasons than two teams having rebuilding years and three historical bottom feeders. That a way Sioux!! give yourselves a pat on the back for that.

Anonymous said...

At least North Dakota fans have Nascar to look for too now! that or making out with their sister tomorrow night.

Anonymous said...

Better year than Minnesota? Both teams lost to BC right? Just ND beat a cake team to get to them....

Anonymous said...

it was a whooping, but that doesnt change the fact that the sioux were the best team in the wcha, and had an off night. i still think all this hatred from minnesota comes down to them losing a.)last year in the reg finals b.) losing in the frozen four to us a few years back and c.) a certain regional game played at the ralph two years ago
jealously? i think so

Anonymous said...

Yeah, I am sure Minnesota is jealous of all those trophies the Sioux have won the last few years.

Err wait, I take that back. They haven't won any.

Nice excuses Goon. If the shoe were on the other foot and the Gophers got their butt kicked last night, you'd be ripping them with your elementary school commentary. That better season you had was also a failing season when you consider what you guys had for players. Underachievers.

Anonymous said...

Hey Fo Sho, The Soo had the "Best team in the WCHA" this year? How so? Second place finish during the regular season and third place in the WCHA play-offs sounds like No Hardware-ville to me. Always comedy gold to have Soo fans make their accomplishment free declarations to the superiority of the Soo after that ass beating last night. If the Soo were in fact the best team why did they send the Junior varsity to Denver?

Don't forget Lammy should have been in the Hobey Hat Trick, Panzer was robbed and so was The Wizzinator Oshie. Karma's a bitch. BC = Holy Cross.

Anonymous said...

Elementary school commentary. That is an incredibly accurate description of Goons moronic gibberish.

Anonymous said...

The next time the Siouxage "borrow" the best Minnesota players, before you throw back the "trash" you might want to look for a backup goalie.

I have a feeling Coach 'stool's poor wife is going to get woken up a lot in the next six months hearing the name "Grieco" over and over. Maybe she can get him a mirror and he can practice giving himself the bird.

In this year's matchup for worst goalie in NCAA tournament, who wins Sauer or Lame-a-roo?

The Siouxage can enjoy their "moral victory" and we all just enjoy what Karma has wrought.

A choke of epic proportions!

I had to chuckle because from what I have seen on this site, a number of posters from both the Minn and North Dakota really like to talk pre-game so seeing the humble pie is a bit funny (this coming from a Michigan fan and yes, we lost also last night and yes it was painful). It just goes to show that no team was unbeatable this year. Maybe all of us should remember this in the pre-game build up.

Lament.

I'll be the first WCHA fan to say congrats to NoDak on a good season. They certainly had a great roster, but in the end playoff hockey is all about goaltending. Lammy had an off night and BC capitalized.

I don't think it would have been a blow out by the Sioux even if Lammy had been on, in fact I think BC still had a slight edge due to their overall team speed. Woulda guessed it to be a 4-3 game...

Congrats to the sioux for being the last WCHA team standing.

At least Michigan made it a game. They didn't get laughed off the ice like the Sioux did and crumble. Hakstol should of fingered all his overrated draft picks, except Oshie.

Wow, now I wish I would have watched the debacle.

Hey Goon, keep taking pride in your season comparisons as you try to clean up the pee your whole team whizzed down its collective leg Thursday night. As a Siouxage fan your probably used to cleaning up your players little "accidents." Maybe Oshie will interview for the job next year in St. Louis. Just remember rubbing their nose in it doesn't work and is cruel.
