WCHA Awards

The WCHA announced their award winners today.

Colorado College's Richard Bachman became only the second player, along with Curtis Joseph, to win both WCHA Player of the Year and WCHA Rookie of the Year in the same season.

Jack Hillen was defensive player of the year, Joel Hanson was named student-athlete of the year, and Troy Jutting was named coach of the year.

So the best player in the best league in the country isn't one of the 10 best players in the country? Makes sense, I guess...?
