New Commits

Tip of the hat on most of these to Chris Heisenberg...

Benilde-St. Margaret's forward Matt Berglund committed to Providence. Berglund scored the game-tying and game-winning goals in Benilde's upset win over Minnetonka HS last Wednesday.

Ben Warda, the leading scorer for the NAHL's St. Louis Bandits, committed to Michigan State for next season.

Sioux Falls defenseman Eric Springer committed to Wisconsin. Springer was a standout with the Team Illinois Midget program last year before moving on to the USHL.

Catholic Memorial(Mass.) defenseman Peter Starett is going to Harvard.

Elliot Sheen committed to Merrimack.

Lincoln's Ryan Kretzer has put up 50 points in the USHL this year, and now he has committed to Nebraska-Omaha.

Swedish forward Tobias Nilsson-Roos committed to Vermont. Nilsson-Roos played for the Malmo Redhawks Under-20 team.

TI's last standout defenseman to go to Wisc. was basically forced out but since this one is basically walking without being a draft pick seems to be someone coaches will play.

WHAT???? No Gopher recruits. Fire Lucia NOW. I see he failed to make the post game press conference after the latest collapse against last place Anchorage last night. Lucia is a big baby.

Does every article have to bring out the anti-Gopher trolls. Get a life
