The metro Detroit area will once again have an entry in the NAHL. It looks like the Southern Minnesota Express will be moving to the Detroit-area.
It is a shame to see junior hockey leave southern Minnesota, though it looks like the people of Owatonna are organizing to try and find a new team.

It sounds like Fargo will end up in Owatonna when everything is all said and done.
wonder how those kids having another year of elgibility will like going to Detroit? (if that team will still have their "rights"?)
There is too much hockey in Detroit to support an NA team. I think they are playing in Taylor, which is probably their best shot. If it took the Wings half the season to start selling out again, I don't see how this team will be able to make a profit on a long term basis. I just hope this new NA team doesn't ever decide to move into the State Fair Collesium
cooley - right you are. The State Fair is a dump - kinda makes Fraser look good. I hope the owners of the NA team have deep pockets, 'cause there will be no gate revenue. However they should be able to draw some good Detroit talent as the years go by.
