Lowe's Senior CLASS Award

Ten finalists have been named for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, which honors the top senior in college hockey. Last year, Notre Dame's David Brown won the inaugural award.

Four of then finalists play in the CCHA or WCHA. They are: Michigan's Kevin Porter, Denver's Peter Mannino, Notre Dame's Mark Van Guilder, and St. Cloud's Marty Mjelleli. North Dakota's Robbie Bina was a candidate, but not chosen to be a finalist.

There is a fan voting section, where St. Cloud's Marty Mjelleli currently leads with 33% of the vote. Mjelleli has racked up an impressive resume of academic and community achievements, though he has only played in 14 of St. Cloud's games this season, and has scored only a single assist.
