USA Hockey will be holding a press conference at Scheels All Sports in Fargo tomorrow, where it's expected that they will announce that Fargo will be hosting the 2009 World U18 championships.
Lest you think it's odd that they're making a major announcement at a sporting goods store, I will point out that that Scheel's has a Ferris Wheel, and the Midwest's largest selection of casual footwear. Also, it's well-proven that people crave fudge after hearing major announcements.

Can you fly to Fargo? Isn't it in Canada?
I think it is a soft drink.

Walleye University. That is awesome! Northern Pike U would be pretty cool as well. Hope Fargo does as well as Grand Forks in putting on these events. Good luck and go NoDak.
Must be a slow newsday if Fargo is the topic of discussion.
Gophers didn't want it.
@2:29pm
Sort of in the same vein that the Gophers didn't want a winning record and didn't want to make the NCAA tournament?
The level of idiocy of the two previous posters is astonishing.
3:33 has to be a first time poster because obviously he/she/it doesn't get the running gopher bit on this site....
Fargo, Ga?
