Western Michigan and Bowling Green had a pretty good fight last Friday night, and CSTV's Elliot Olshansky was on-hand and able to capture it on video.
The fight was started in response to Ben Geelan's slash to the wrist of Western's Patrick Galivan. All 10 players on the ice were suspended for the following night's game, meaning Western Michigan wasn't able to dress a full 18 skaters.

There was a post a little while back about Goon's, and how most of them come from Major Junior, because NCAA doesn't play that type of hockey. Hockey is hockey folks....
Ok, let the BS commence!
I think college players should be able to wear a visor, and I think fighting has a place in the game - even in this day and age. Call me old school, but hockey should be hockey.
However, the WMU team is a bunch of no talent goons. Coached by a no talent goon. They don't graduate enough players, and Frank-ly, they don't belong in the same league as UND, UM, State, and Miami.
That is nothing compared to the total beat-down that Matt Siddall did to a guy from Michigan Tech.
I thought only Major Junior players were goons??
meet the clackson bros.
The post in question discussed incidents that drew multiple-game suspensions. There were no multiple-game suspensions handed out for this incident, so I don't really see how that is relevant.
Good to see the Clackson boys back in action doing what they do best.
