Miller to BG

Detroit Honeybaked Midget Major defenseman Mike Miller has committed to Bowling Green for the 2009 season, according to Chris Heisenberg.

Miller is originally from California, but moved to Michigan to play for the Honeybaked program. This is his second season with the Midget Major team, as he played up a year last season. He has a reputation as one of the biggest hitters for his age group.

Reirden and Schueller have been doing a great job recruiting defensemen for BG. This is the third one coming I've seen where the scouting report is basically "Solid defensemen - likes to hit".

On another note, I'm so tired of people whining "(fill in your favorite team) didn't want him." Everybody has different needs at different times. And did the coach tell you he wasn't wanted? Where do you get this info?

I played with Mike Miller at the Select 15 camp two years ago. He is an absolute beast and I know for a fact that the SCSU coach did want him. He is a good kid and I still keep in touch with him and in my opinion he was a definite NTDP final 40 snub. Also, BG is a better school than SCSU with a much better campus, and this probabyl played into his decision as well.
