According to Chris Heisenberg, Shattuck-St. Mary forward Stepan Novotny committed to Denver.
Novotny is originally hails from the Czech Republic. This is his second year with Shattuck's prep team. Through 22 games, Novotny has 29 points this year.
Denver head coach George Gwozdecky was on-hand to watch Novotny play last Saturday at the Nike/Bauer National Invitational Tournament in New Hope, Minnesota, and apparently the coach liked what he saw.
