Linkorama

Mike Eidelbes of INCH gave a shout out to me in his recent 'Mike Check' column. Thanks Mike! Perhaps for his kindness, I'll send him a t-shirt.

For those that don't keep too close an eye on the NHL, Toronto prospect Jiri Tlusty created quite a stir when he participated in the timeless art of seduction.

It was pointed out to me that Danny Heath would not be the first Arizonan to play hockey at Minnesota State, should he play for the Mavericks in 2009. He would actually be the fourth, and second since MSU went to Division I. So my apologies to Dave Wilcoxson, Scott Burkholder, and Matt Cunningham.

Michigan's Louie Caporusso will be out 4-6 weeks with a knee injury.

Kevin Allenspach of the St. Cloud Times mentioned on his blog that St. Cloud is considering trying to host the World U18 tournament in 2009. It would be pretty cool to see such a big event in Minnesota.

Former Nebraska-Omaha forward Adam Bartholomay ended up in the ECHL after leaving the Mavericks.

Brett Motherwell has officially left Boston College and will be playing for the Syracuse Crunch in the AHL. The article mentions a "curfew violation" which is about the most that's been printed about his indefinite, and now permanent suspension from BC.
