Paul Shaheen's Research on Ice Newsletter is reporting that Chicago(USHL) defenseman Tim Buttery has committed to Michigan State for next year. Buttery is a late '87 that played high school hockey in Michigan for Detroit(/Redford/Novi) Catholic Central.
So far this season, Buttery has 7 assists and is a +4 for Chicago.
