St. Clair to CC

P.F. Chang(Phoenix) forward Colten St. Clair committed to Colorado College, according to the Scouting News.

St. Clair is a 10th grader this year, meaning the earliest he would join the Tigers is in 2010. The Scouting News describes him as a "smart player who possesses a quality shot and speed". St. Clair is playing up a year with P.F. Chang's Midget Major team. You can view his profile for that team here.

P.F. Chang was just in Colorado Springs over the weekend for the Colorado College tournament where they went 2-0-1 with victories over Pikes Peak and the Dallas Stars, and a tie with the Colorado Rampage.

If he was at the CC vs Minnesota game, I'm not surprised he committed. CC outplayed Minnesota on Friday and stole a close one on Saturday where Minnesota had a slight advantage in play. As a Gopher fan it seems to be repeat of the end last season where goals are hard to come by.

the gophers will miss stoa big time. just wait and see. he was primed for a 30-40 point season after not doing much his 1st 2 years. also okposo doesnt have hrisch to set him up so him going to wing would be a good thing, man this may be a long year

I agree about Stoa. He will be missed for his physical presence. It was disappointing to see how little the Gophers went to the net in this weekend's games.
