New Commits

Minnesota got a commitment from Wausau West forward Nate Condon. Condon led this fall's Elite League in scoring, and was recently rated as an "A" prospect for this summer's NHL draft.

Bowling Green got a commitment from Ann Arbor-native Ian Ruel, who is playing for the Indiana Ice this year.

No excitement from gopher nation at raiding the state of hockey for talent? No replies here and no replies to the one post on Gopher Puke Live.

I think you see little reaction because most Gopher fans will not have seen Condon play. It's too bad that FSN Wisconsin doesn't broadcast any high school games, but I guess they have a hard enough time finding an audience for the games Becky plays.

Like the Gopher Blog said it's nice that Wisconsin can finally give a little reciprocity to a state that has provided so much talent to other programs.

Wisconsin never offered.

Isn't it a sin with the Gopher faithful to go beyond their own borders to recruit a hockey player?

Until he dyes his hair blond and crys to the refs at every whistle, he will not be appreciated by the baby sh*t yellow and moron fans.

Only Sioux cry about refs. Well, they are Sioux for now. Pretty soon we'll be calling them by a different name.

That Wisconsin never offered, if true, really isn't a surprise. Sconnie likes defensive grinders, not scorers.

Scorer or not, Wisconsin didn't need him. They simply have too many talented players who have already verballed.

Yep that Kyle Turris is definitely a grinder.

Yes, and one exception certainly disproves the rule.

It is funny to see the division of Becky fans. The first guys whining about how Gopher fans are giving their new recruit no respect. Then later the Becky fans are ripping Condon saying Wisconsin didn't need or want him.

Paint Thinner! It does a body good.

Yep that Micheal Davies is a grinder.

I heard Frazee was planning on stopping at the Red Shed for Long Island Ice Teas on the trip to Madison...somthing about being so uneasy by Turris being in the lineup that he needs to catch a buzz or he might wet himself.

There are no gay bars in Madison so Frazee might have to stay in his room and jerk off to UW male cheerleaders. I heard he has a butt-hole the size of a coke can.

Its funny how Condon outscored all the Wisconsin recruits in the elite league, and also was the first ever Wisconsin player to win the elite league scoring title, well he must be doing something right, why stay home when you can go to the best program in the nation, cant wait to see two hands to his ears gliding down the kohl center, oopppssssss

Anonymous said...

Well he couldn't stay home since Wisconsin never offered.

It's nice to know that Becky fans don't spend all their time watching the boring trap and imbibing paint thinner. They make time for their hobbies like scouting for gay bars and learning about proctology.

Moooon Riverrrr!

Typical Badger hockey, win 2-1, 3-1 lose 3-1, 2-1...oh wait that's Gopher hockey this year!!

I think it's pretty funny that someone would even mention he outscored all the Badger recruits since there is ONLY ONE foward recruit in that league.

Don Lucia will quickly alienate him, much like he did to Kessel, Eric Johnson, Tyler Hirsh, Alex Gologosly, etc, etc, etc. I really wish the press in Minnesota would talk to these kids to find out how badly Don Lucia is hated by some of the players and what a jerk he can be.
