Colorado-native Drew Shore committed to Denver. Shore was a fairly high WHL draft pick two years ago, but is playing with the NTDP U17 team this year.
Compuware Midget Minor defenseman Michael Gunn committed to Michigan State. Gunn is a pretty big defenseman with excellent skills. He's Michigan State's first commitment for 2010.

Interesting that a few years ago, players had to play 1 - 2 years of JR's before talking to colleges. Now they are committing to colleges before their OHL draft year, or NTDP tryouts. My how things change!
Is this a "true commitment" or is it one of those "they've talked to me" but I've "committed" to them. Michigan State U usually doesn't commit this early.....is this a bargaining chip for the OHL?
