A New Recruit for Michigan

Michigan was the first team to recruit a 1992 birthdate earlier this season when they got a commitment from Little Caesar's defenseman Jon Merrill. They're now the second team to get a commitment from a 1992 birthdate.

Compuware Bantam Midget forward Jared Knight has committed to Michigan for the 2010 season. Knight was the leading scorer in the MWEHL this season.

14 shifts per period, he better be the highest scorer in the league. Time will tell as the Junior 'Defense' he will be up against make the goals less frequent and the injuries more prevalent. No real size, it will catch up eventually. Oh well, live it up while you can. Many before were in your same shoes and today they are selling hockey sticks for TPS.

This is a parental imput site, who know if it's even true. I know merrils dad is a master salesman that's how he got his 92 kids interest. I imagine this boys parents have done the same. poor red

Can't wait to play you comp boys this season, that boy will have a bullseye on his back in every game he plays just like AJ from LC who was out for months and came back a shadow of his formerly waify self.

Of course Compuware will have a bullseye on their back next year, but no one will be able to see it because they'll be so far ahead of the rest of the teams in the country. Yes, Knight is the real deal and wait til you see the rest of the team. For once the rumors don't even come close to the reality. Jr Canadiens are history. Honey-who?

This dude is the real deal... and no his parents didn't "buy" him into Michigan. He got himslef into Michiagn. Yes, his size will be an issue, but when you have hands like that there will be no way anyone will stop him. definetly going to be a 1st rounder if he stays healthy.

HAHA! Jared? Buy his way in? no way he totally earned it! I know him. He used ot be A bruin!(families have known each other 4 ever!) and let me tell you what ever team he goes against.... u better watch OUT!!! =]

ok...so jared is probably the most hard working person i have met. He constantly is in his basement shootng pucks and making himself better. He doesnt let anything get in his way. So whoever is doubting his ability to play at this level...I think that you will be surprised at what he can do. He deserves it!

He has a synthetic ice rink in his basement, of course he's good. Plus he started playing AAA when he was 10, i guess it is possible to buy talent.
