Richfield High School goalie Mark Guggenberger will be bypassing college hockey after signing with the Portland Winterhawks of the WHL.
There's some interesting quotes in there from Guggenberger about always wanting to play major junior, and hoping more Minnesotans go the WHL route. Guggenberger was probably the second best senior goalie in Minnesota this year behind Cloquet's Reid Ellingson.
