It was a big pay day for Michigan Tech today. Former goalie John Rockwell donated $500,000 to the hockey program to go towards Michigan Tech's $3 million Hockey Enrichment Campaign.
Rockwell is a managing director of a major venture capital fund that focuses on clean technology, and also serves as the chairman of the Enrichment Campgain.
So far, the campaign has raised $2.4 million for the hockey program, and will run until June 30. It's nice to see Tech's performance this season motivate the alumni and help them get more funding into the program.
