Cretin-Derham Hall, the defending champions in Class AA, will not be returning to the XCel Center to defend their title.
In the second major upset of the day, Woodbury High School beat Cretin in overtime to advance to the state tournament.
Another top-seeded team also fell today when Grand Rapids beat Cloquet 3-1 to advance out of section 7AA.
