New Commitments

Minnesota-Duluth got a commitment from International Falls goalie Brady Hjelle. Hjelle will be a high school senior next season. There are a lot of very talented high school goalies in up in Duluth's area, so it will be interesting to see where they end up, now that Duluth is set in goal.

North Dakota got a huge commitment from Edina defeneseman Joe Gleason. Gleason is very fast and loves to rush the puck up the ice. I think he's got a world of talent.

Other commitments of interest include Nick Maricic, a goalie off the U17 team committing to Yale, Kyle Reeds, a young kid in his second year in the USHL committing to Dartmouth, and Daniel Erlich, a '91 birthdate playing for the Toronto Marlies Midget Team committing to Northeastern.

Interesting that Minnesota never offered Gleason a scholarship.

Interesting....? Minnesota didn't recruit him because they knew he wanted to play for the Sioux.
