The CCHA finished their regular season this weekend. The league, as usual, was unpredictable. Here's a look at the final standings, along with a look at some of the preseason projections.

Yeesh, I sucked. It does give a nice indication of some general trends in the league, though. Notre Dame and Western Michigan both seem to have exceeded everyone's expectations, while teams like Northern Michigan and Michigan State did not meet expectations.

3/12 correct. Aside from NMU, everyone else wound up higher than where I had them for a total deviation of 10.
You knew that you were going out on a limb with your pick of LSSU and it came back to bite you.
You had pointed out that one unexpected team always seems to crash the top 3 teams, and this year it was Notre Dame and not LSSU.
Lake Superior's slide in the second half of the season is really what screwed me.
If they had stayed up around 4th or 5th in the standings, I think my total deviation would have been more in line with everyone else.
At least I came closer than everyone on Notre Dame.
