Sophomore defenseman T.J. Fast has left Denver to play for the Tri-City Americans of the WHL.
Fast had considered leaving Denver for a few months, but decided to stay until with the Pioneers, until a trip home to Canada changed his mind. Fast was a healthy scratch in a few games for Denver this season, and seemed to struggle academically.
