Kevin Allenspach features St. Cloud defenseman Grant Clafton.

Michigan's hockey team went curling in Alaska. My favorite line of the article:
A few players also joined coach Red Berenson on a two-mile walk from the hotel to the Carlson Center for practice on Thursday in sub-zero temperatures
Red isn't your average 67 year old.

Air Force's Eric Ehn gets some press in his hometown paper.

Let's Go DU has YouTube videos of Glenn Fisher's dive and J.P. Testwuide's KO over Ben Gordon.

Zach Parise was the top player at the NHL's YoungStars game, which was mostly regarded as a joke. That could have been the first and last time we see that game. Matt Carle, Lee Stempniak, and Phil Kessel were also mentioned.

FYI - They did they did the Young Stars game in 2002 for the first time. They had it in 2003, 2004 and this year. The last two years there was no All-Star game

What the @#^%!@ are you talking about. Please elaborate. Did you mean the young stars game or the All-Star game?

A joke perhaps because it didn't include anyone from your favorite team?

The game was just barely watchable at best. I'm a fanatic about hockey prospects and I turned it off after about a half period.
